Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Pager Manager ("we", "our", or "the App") handles your information. Pager Manager is designed with a "Privacy First" architecture. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any developer-operated or third-party servers. The App does access and collect device location, including in the background, and transmits it only to your own paired hardware — never to us. See Section 3: Permissions & Usage for the full location disclosure.
1. Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not track your location for analytics, advertising, or user profiling. (The App does access and collect GPS location for the remote polling feature only, and sends it solely to your own paired device — see Section 3.)
- We do not collect usage statistics or crash reports automatically.
- We do not upload your files, scripts, or "loot" to any cloud server.
2. Security Architecture & Local Storage
Your data is stored strictly on your local device within the Android App Sandbox. We utilize industry-standard encryption verified by our latest Security Audit.
- Database Encryption: All sensitive records (logs, handshakes) are encrypted at rest using SQLCipher (256-bit AES).
- SSH Keys: Authentication credentials are secured using the Android Keystore system.
- Connection Security: The app utilizes SSL Certificate Pinning to detect and prevent Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attacks on secure channels.
3. Permissions & Usage
The App requests specific permissions to function. Here is how we use them:
- INTERNET: Required to establish the SSH tunnel to your device.
Note: To support the Hak5 WiFi Pineapple hardware, the app explicitly permits cleartext traffic only to the device's local management IP (172.16.52.1). All other traffic is subject to strict HTTPS requirements.
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to verify connection to the management WiFi before attempting commands.
- READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: (Optional) Used only if you explicitly choose to import payload files from your device storage.
- CLIPBOARD ACCESS: Used only when you initiate a "Copy" command from the terminal output or logs.
- ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: The App accesses and collects your precise location (GPS) and approximate location via Android location services. Location is used solely to relay your device's GPS position to your own paired WiFi Pineapple ("pager") device in support of the App's remote polling feature. It is used for no other purpose.
- ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION: The App continues to access and collect location in the background — that is, while it is minimized and not in active use on screen. This background access exists because an active remote polling session can continue while the App is backgrounded, so your paired device keeps receiving your position. Background collection does not occur when the App is fully closed or force-stopped, and it does not resume on its own; it runs only for a polling session you started yourself.
How location data is handled:
- Sharing: Location is transmitted only to your own paired pager device, over your own authenticated, encrypted SSH connection. It is not sold, and it is not shared with the developer, advertisers, analytics providers, or any other third party. No location data is sent to, processed by, or stored on any developer-operated server.
- Your control: Remote polling is off by default and must be explicitly activated by you within the App; location is never collected until you start a polling session. Ending the session stops collection immediately. The polling toggle does not persist between App launches — it resets to off every time the App starts, so a session can never resume without a deliberate action by you. You may also revoke location permission at any time in Android Settings → Apps → Pager Manager → Permissions, which stops collection entirely.
- Retention: The App stores no GPS data. Location is transient and in-transit only: each position is passed straight through the encrypted SSH pipeline to your paired pager device and then discarded. It is never written to the App's local database, logs, or disk, and no location history is retained on your phone. Once the data reaches your own pager device, how that device processes or retains it is under your control as its owner and operator.
For clarity, this corresponds to the App's Data safety declaration on Google Play:
- Data type: Location — Precise location and Approximate location.
- Collected: Yes. Location leaves your device, so we disclose it as collected.
- Shared: No. It is not transferred to any third party; the only recipient is your own paired pager device.
- Processed ephemerally: Yes. Location is used in transit to service your active polling session and is not persisted by the App.
- Purpose: App functionality only. It is not used for analytics, advertising, personalization, or account management.
- Required or optional: Optional. You can use the App without enabling remote polling, and no location is collected unless you do.
4. Third-Party Services
The App does not use any third-party advertising SDKs or tracking frameworks.
Audit Verification: Our February 2026 security assessment (MobSF) detected 0 User/Device Trackers in the production build.
5. Legal Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
By using this application, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

The developers of Pager Manager do not condone illegal activity and are not responsible for any misuse of this tool or violations of law committed by the user.
- Hardware Risk & Liability: This software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While Pager Manager is designed to interact safely with the stock firmware, the nature of executing scripts, installing third-party payloads, and modifying device configuManagerions carries inherent risks. The user assumes full responsibility for any loss of data, firmware corruption, or hardware issues that may arise during the opeManagerion of the device.
- Third-Party Scripts & Payloads: The "Payload Management" feature acts as a neutral interface allowing you to fetch scripts from external repositories (e.g., GitHub). Pager Manager does not vet, review, or control third-party code. You acknowledge that you are responsible for verifying the safety and functionality of any external script you choose to download or execute.
- User Data Responsibility ("Loot"): You are the sole controller of any data, logs, or "loot" captured using this tool. Pager Manager stores this data locally on your device and does not have access to it. You are responsible for ensuring that your data collection and storage practices comply with all applicable privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and wiretapping regulations in your jurisdiction.
